Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Nabugabo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits shallow inshore regions of the main lake and the lake ward inlets to the marginal swamps (Ref. 4983); over sand, sand with mud-detritus overlay and deep mud. Feeds on insect larvae (Chironomid & Trichoptera) as well as on plant epidermis (Ref. 558).
