Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Congrogadinae
Max. size:  6.95 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 6 - 15 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Socotra Archipelago, Yemen.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 58-61; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 45-48; Vertebrae: 63-66. Three lateral lines (dorsal, middle and ventral complexes); ventral lateral line branched on abdomen, with unpaired median section on ventral midline; and upper lateral line without anterodorsal branch on to nape (Ref. 49841).
