Max. size:  2.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 2 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Body naked without papillae network. Stomach black, intestine pale. Pelvic fins black. Preopercular spine flat and bifurcated. Ceratobranchial rakers 8 (Ref. 450470).
