Diagnosis: | Dorsal soft rays (total): 15-17; Anal soft rays: 8-10. In females, vertical bars become narrower and more defined with age; in males, bars become numerous and then break into reticulated pattern (Ref. 26938). | |||
Biology: | 6 cm max TL (Ref. 2060). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). | |||
