Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 175 - 240 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: seamounts of the southern part of the Nazca Ridge.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 74-78; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 71-75; Vertebrae: 56-57. No chin barbel; very small round light organ on abdomen in front of the center of the distance between the end of the base of the pelvic fins and the anus; pyloric caeca 9-12; body cavity extending to level of 13-14th ray of the anal fin. Caudal fin rounded.
