Max. size:  16 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 34 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Indonesia and Phuket, Thailand.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal soft rays: 13-15. Distinguished by having a body depth of 3.2 or less in SL; seven pectoral filaments, some extending well past midpoint of anal fin; interorbital region of frontals concave.
Biology:  Reaches at least 16 cm SL (Ref. 39607).
