Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6.5; dH range: 10, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Ntem (Ref. 80395), upper Sanaga, upper Nyong and upper Dja (Ref. 47774, 80395) in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea (Ref. 80395).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swamps, brooks and small streams under forest cover (Ref. 47774). 7 cm max TL (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
