Family:  Danionidae (Danios), subfamily: Danioninae
Max. size:  10 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater; depth range 0 - 1 m
Distribution:  Asia: Mytkyna, northern Myanmar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Habitat: fast running, shallow water. Bank vegetation bamboo forest. Stream usually with some 50% shadow.
