Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Pakistan to Madras, India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms of the continental shelf. Feeds predominantly on bottom-living invertebrates (Ref. 2872).
