Max. size:  5.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Malaysia and Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Presence of one or two pairs of barbels, a conspicuous black spot between the anus and the anal-fin origin, up to four spots on the dorsal mid-line and a conspicuous black stripe ending in a blotch in the upper half of the lower lobe of the caudal fin, not reaching the posterior extremity of the rays (Ref. 81211).
Biology:  Occurs in lowland streams (Ref. 81211).
