Distinguished from congeners in having a unique combination of the following characters: 41-43 vertebrae, adult color pattern consisting solely of a dark brown oblique predorsal bar, steeply convex dorsal profile of the snout, length of adipose-fin base 22.6-25.8 % SL, and caudal peduncle length 18.2-21.1 % SL (Ref. 75740). | |||
