Environment:  benthopelagic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: southern Mexico to Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coastal waters, estuaries and river mouths (Ref. 9118). Feeds on crustacean larvae, small shrimps and fishes (Ref. 9118).
