Family:  Gobiesocidae (Clingfishes and singleslits), subfamily: Gobiesocinae
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 5 - 30 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: endemic to the Galapagos Islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 7-7
Biology:  Lives in small recesses on rocky reefs, slopes and walls, clinging to rocky substrates (Ref. 5227) in the surge zones (Ref. 11482).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 15 September 2022 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
