Max. size:  3.9 cm SL (male/unsexed); 4 cm (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Amazon River basin, in the MamorĂ© and Beni River basins.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  These are harem spawners, with the males being very secretive about the eggs. Maximum length is 6.0 cm TL (Ref. 12251).
