Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Only known from its type locality, a small brook under forest cover in the upper Ivindo drainage system, northern Congo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).

Threat to humans:  harmless
