Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 5 - 6; dH range: 5, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: lower and middle Wuri, Dibamba and Sanaga rivers, western Cameroon.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-14; Anal soft rays: 13-15
Biology:  Occurs in brooks in the coastal rainforest on basement complex soil (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
