Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6.5; dH range: 10, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: only known from the type locality, a small pool next to a fast flowing brook, tributary of the Lefini River (middle Congo River basin); presence at other localities needs confirmation (Ref. 47461).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).

Threat to humans:  harmless
