Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Sankuru and upper and middle Kasai drainage systems (middle Congo River basin) in southern Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 47461).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks under forest cover (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. ExpĂ©rimentĂ©: Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
