Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6; dH range: 5 - 8, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: drainages of the Logone, Chari, Mayo Kebbi and possibly upper Benue in northern Cameroon, western Central African Republic and southeastern Chad; possibly also in eastern Nigeria (Ref. 47461).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks and swamps in the open and humid grassland savanna on the highlands (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
