Description: Characterized by having variable color, uniform brown or yellow; brown usually with pinkish snout, yellow area around eye; caudal fin yellow; single lateral-line scale; greatest depth of body 3.4-3.9 in SL (Ref. 90102). | |||
| Biology: | Found in coastal reef slopes amongst algae boulder habitat to about 20 m depth (Ref. 48635); also inhabits inshore reefs (Ref. 7300). Cryptic and seen with the use of collecting chemicals (Ref 90102). | |||
