Max. size:  20.3 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 71.5 g
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Former USSR: Basin of the Kura (from the upper to the lower reaches with the tributaries) and the Aras (also lakes of Chaldyr-gel and Aiger-gel), rivers of the Lenkoran District and Safid-rud.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 38-42. Description: Dorsal fin with 6½-8½ branched rays; anal fin with 9½-13½ branched rays; pectoral fin with 12-16 branched rays; pelvic fin with 6-8 branched rays (Ref. 106247).
Biology:
