Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Sakarya River drainage in Turkey.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-12; Anal soft rays: 14-17; Vertebrae: 39-42
Biology:  Occurs in swift and clear flowing water with cobble and pebbles (Ref. 115650).
