Diagnosis: | Dorsal soft rays (total): 16-16. Rings: 13+44-46. | |||
Biology: | Found among seaweed and near the base of red algae on shallow rocky reefs (Ref. 637). Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). | |||
