Max. size:  37 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range - 36 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Endemic to the west coast of Australia.
Diagnosis:  Has relatively large scales (20-26) and leopard-like color pattern of spots, blotches and lines.
Biology:  Occurs inshore (Ref. 7300), on reefs (Ref. 127767). Benthic (Ref. 75154).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 10 June 2022 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
