Remarks Known only from the type locality, Naung Pin Thar Chaung, a small forest stream on the eastern slope of the Rakhine Yoma, draining to the Irrawaddy basin. It had clear, colorless water, moderate current and was 1-2 meter wide, to 0.5 meter deep, with about 30% shadow, in a landscape of bamboo forested hills, land vegetation close to stream mainly bamboo. The streambed consisted of rocks and gravel (Ref. 52314).
