Remarks This species is found in streams with well-oxygenated water and slow currents. At rest, they dwell in shallow areas of 0.3 to 1.5 m depth in the dry season, futher characterized by the presence of dead leaves, leaf litter, vegetation cover, and tangled roots (Ref. 133102).
