Remarks | Kedesauliengel are abundant in mangrove channels. They move into deep water in the lagoon and over the outer reef slope to spawn. Spawning occurs from the tenth to the fifteenth (full moon) throughout the year but peaking late spring and early summer. The eleventh to the thirteenth night are called 'Kedesau nights' since line and net fishing yield a good number of L. argentimaculatus and L. bohar. Fish caught on these nights have empty stomachs (Ref. 2928). |
