Etymology: Paracyprichromis: Greek, para = the side of + Greek, Cypris = the other name of Aphrodite, proceeding from Kypris = Cyprus, Greek, kyprinos = carp + Greek, chromis = a kis of fish perhaps a perch (Ref. 45335).
