Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal spines (total): 1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 5; Anal soft rays: 8 - 9; Vertebrae: 35 - 36. Color pattern with many small blotches of various shades of brown, with many small, dark brown spots on the dorsal surface of the head. Dorsal-fin base 10.8-13.1% SL. Rounded posterior margin of adipose fin. Pectoral spine without serrations (Ref. 37794).
