Remarks: | Infestation commonly occurs in the intestine. Imported goldfish from Hongkong for the ornamental fish trade was reported to be the source of the parasite which were examined in Quezon City. However it has not yet been shown to occur in Philippine natural waters. This parasite is synonymous to Goussia carpelli. |
