Found in the Iberian Peninsula (Ref. 119049). Landlocked population in Fratel reservoir (Ref. 59043). Common and abundant in the Tagus Estuary; exploited by artisanal fishermen (Ref. 33997). Minimum capture size: no limit - 25 cm TL (Ref. 119049). Also Ref. 51031.
