Ranges from Cape San Lucas, Baja California northward but is abundant only from Magdalena Bay northward in Mexico (Ref. 11568, 11532). Recorded from several localities in Baja California Sur (Ref. 37955). Processed into fishmeal and oil. Minimum size for the fishery: 10 cm. Catch season: whole year. Also Ref. 96339. |
