Reported as Oreochromis niloticus tana from Lake Tana (Ref. 27554, 96382, 128753). Reports from lakes Awasa and Zwai (Ref. 5410) probably refer to Oreochromis niloticus cancellatus (Ref. 27554). Has been introduced to other lakes in the country (Ref. 27123), but identification uncertain (see Ref. 27554; T. Musschoot pers. comm.). Also Ref. 58460. |
