Blotchy coloration on body, clear band from chin to the beginning of the dorsal mid-sagittal electroreceptororgan, two clear bands surrounding caudal peduncle in specimens up to 16.5 cm TL, mouth rictus passing the posterior margin of orbit (Ref. 50571).
Found in slow-flowing waters (Ref. 50571).
