背棘 (總數): 1; 背的軟條 (總數): 4; 臀鰭軟條: 11 - 12; 脊椎骨: 45 - 46. Distinguished from other members of the genus by having a truncate caudal fin and a very low adipose fin with an indistinct posterior margin (length of adipose fin base 29.5-38.5% SL; dorsal to adipose distance 25.0-32.8% SL) (Ref. 37785).
藉由有一個與本屬的其他成員區分了截形的尾鰭，而且一個非常低的脂鰭有一個不明顯的後緣 (脂鰭基底 29.5-38.5% SL 的長度; 背鰭到脂鰭距離 25.0-32.8% SL).(參考文獻 37785)
