Korte beschrijving Morfologie | Morfometrie

Dorsale zachte stralen (totaal): 12; Anale zachte stralen: 8. Distinguished by a broad black midlateral stripe and another stripe along the back in specimens smaller than about 4 cm SL; larger specimens with vertical bars connecting the two stripes and extending to the lower half of the body; fins hyaline in small specimens and marked in larger ones (Ref. 27732).

Biologie     Verklarende woordenlijst (bv. epibenthic)

Occurs in riffles, in clear, fast-flowing water (Ref. 27732). Found in small creek with sandy bottom and moderate current (Ref. 37841) and hill streams (Ref. 58784). Feeds on insect larvae and benthic organisms (Ref. 58784).
