Caudal fin present. Dorsal fin rays 17, caudal fin rays 9. Opercular keel is shaped between rectilinear and convex. Base of the dorsal fin is well elevated. The shield edges are spinous but the dorsal profile of the snout and head are yet to become spinous in larvae 20 mm in length. |
