Pigmentation: Preflexion-postflexion: on lower part of head (dentary, gular area, preopercular, branchiostegal membrane); on hypobranchial and basibranchials after about 6 mm; on isthmus; dorsolateral and ventral margin series along gut; on ventral margin of tail, extending along elongate central caudal fin rays after about 11 mm; usually some on anal finfold; internally on hindbrain, extending onto midbrain by about 11 mm; on dorsal fin bases by about 16 mm; dorsally on caudal peduncle by about 23 mm. Sequence of fin development: caudal, dorsal and anal, pectorals, pelvics. | ||||
