Additional Characters Numerous oil globules coalesce to form single oil globule. Small perivitelline space. Thickness of the egg membrane: 0.09-0.16. Yolk colored vivid cream or orange-yellow. Eggs are laid in clumps among the branches of Laminaria or other brown seaweed holdfasts.
