Comments: | A breeding population is recorded from the Yarqon River near Tel Aviv which may have been at that site since the late 1940s. In 1993, several specimens were collected from the Assi River near Beit Shean. Additional unpublished records were collected in 1989 in Ein Teo in the Upper Galilee (Ref. 37616). Restricted in distribution but with significant negative impact (Ref. 52511). Ref: |
