Max. size:  22 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine; depth range 7 - 80 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: southern Oman to Papua New Guinea (Ref. 6771), north to Taiwan (Ref. 5193) and Japan (Ref. 559).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 77-105; Anal soft rays: 70-82. Caudal vertebrae 36-39; mid-lateral line scales 73-96 (Ref. 11691).
