Max. size:  4.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Taiwan. Has been introduced to Singapore (Ref. 38466).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 13-14. Refers to Rasborinus macrolepis.

Country info:  Found in Kagi (Chiayi County) and Ako (Linlo, Pingtung County) of southern Taiwan (Ref. 35975). Has been introduced to Singapore (Ref. 38466). Type locality, Suwata, Suwo Bay (Ref. 40966).
