Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 13-14; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 4-6. Body nearly uniform brown; compressed but not greatly so; depth about 31-37% SL. Orbit 9-12% SL. Dorsal soft rays 6.5; anal 4.5-5.5 (Ref. 39597).
