Environment:  benthopelagic; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from Delagoa Bay, Mozambique to Durban, South Africa.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 45-47; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 37-39. Amber above with turquoise blue and red dots, faint rosy color below; anal and pelvic fins with dark red dots (Ref. 5466).
