Tramitichromis trilineatus (Trewavas, 1931)

Max. size:  14 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Endemic to the southeast arm of Lake Malawi.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Has been observed in shallow water over sand. Feeds on soft invertebrates which are sifted from the sand by means of the gills (Ref. 5595).
