Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 1630 m
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic: Iceland (Ref. 12462). Northwest Atlantic: Canada (Ref. 40643). Southwest Pacific: east of New Zealand (Ref. 12965).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Epibenthic-pelagic (Ref. 58426); also benthopelagic (Ref.5951). Feeds on crustaceans (Ref. 58426). Max. length (Andrey Dolgov, pers. comm., 2003).
