Distribution:  Asia: endemic to the upper reaches of Yalu River, Korea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 21-22; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 12-13
Biology:  Inhabits very cold and clean rivers. It has the most beautiful form and fins of a freshwater fish. (Ref. 12218).
