Thoracochromis lucullae (Boulenger, 1913)

Max. size:  11.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: only known from the Lucalla River (Cuanza River basin) in Angola (Ref. 11970, 52307).
Diagnosis:  Description: relatively slender body; head relatively large; snout pointed; frontal profile straight to slightly concave; caudal fin rounded (Ref. 52307). Coloration: body brown in both sexes; dorsal and caudal fins with dark dots and maculae; dorsal fin with dark outer margin; males with darker-colored throat and some egg spots on anal fin (Ref. 52307).
