Tangachromis dhanisi (Poll, 1949)

Max. size:  8.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Endemic to Lake Tanganyika.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  One of the dwarf species living in deep water over the sunken sand plains. Has been caught with drag nets down to 100 m. Feeds on copepods (Ref. 6770).

Threat to humans:  harmless
