Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 70 - 278 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Cocos and the Galapagos islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 90-97; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 77-81; Vertebrae: 50-52
Biology:  Probably found on rocky substrate (Ref. 9294).
